Well, are our good *****, I mean Friend Ron asked me to stop in and say hey. I think the only other one of you I know or have met is Floyd.
I come up to MIR fairly regular on Sunday T&Ts and Ron and I go back a little while.

Thanks, I'm a 3X SRT Flunkie. I have had 2 SRT-4s previous to the SRT-6. Before that I had 3 RX-7s, an '87 Grand National too. I'm into pretty much anything with BOOST!

Yep you're right about that. I know a few Neon and Grand National owners that would consider you slow too;)

Street Legal is relative. I'm talking about cars that are driven on the street that have tags and insurance. I didn't say they would pass inspection;) Besides, who said 9s? I though we were comparing it to a HIGH 10 Second(11 Second) car. Low 11 Second SRT-4 are not rare.
Hell, the fastest SRT-4(Red Sled) in the country is tagged, inspected and insured and makes brief trips to the store. It runs 9.40s @ 150+ with mostly stock interior. He's hoping for 8s this year. Come see him at MIR this year.
Street driven SRT-4 that run in the 10s aren't that rare anymore either.
Grand Nationals are just nasty, everyone knows what you can do with one of those.
Yea no shit
i know of a big red one haha

Welcome. How does that SRT ride on the streets? I debated on getting one but every review I read said the thing felt like it didn't have shocks. Nice numbers in the quarter though.

Well, I guess that depends on what you consider a rough ride. It rides about as well as my old SRT-4 with Coilovers, but with better rebound comfort. My S2000 Rides smoother and handles better. Overall it isn't bad at all unless the pavement is bad. I drove it to Greensboro 2 weeks ago and I was ready to get out of it after the 4 hour trip.
For what the car is, I think it rides just fine. You don't buy a high performance vehicle because it rides like a Caddy. The 35 Series tires are probably the biggest contributor to the semi Harsh ride. Nothing upsets the cars balance, so it's very well setup for handling. Hitting a pothole in the middle of a hard 75 MPH sweeping curve doesn't faze it.
I'll happy to provide test rides the next time I come up.
