Hello all,

The name is Matt -- born and raised in Calvert County. Did my schooling for the past 7 years in Bmore, and just came home to work @ Pax.

On to the important stuff -- I drive an 08 Caliber SRT4 purchased in March w/ 38 miles. Performance mods include Mopar Stage 1, K&N CAI, MaxxFab Downpipe, MaxxFab Muffler Kit, and AGP Wastegate Actuator. I've done a few visual mods -- tint, projector headlights, blacked out tails, decepticon emblems (rice, i know), and a dodge windshield banner.

I hope to have a new front mount intercooler in by the end of summer.

Anyway, I look forward to meeting up with you all.

I think I have only seen one other of these on the road. Its black and the guy painted the factory rims flat black. See it in Waldorf. Ever take it to the track?

Don't you technically already have a front mount IC?? :wink: You're just upgrading to a bigger one right??

Mine used to look pretty bone stock until I went to a show where there were 4 bone stock ones. I immediately changed. Maybe too much so. Haven't been to the track yet... but with these mods I should run mid-high 13s. If I don't completely peel out @ launch.

I've seen quite a few NSRT4s around. Orange, black, and red mostly. I really dig the skittles. I have only passed 1 caliber locally though. I know they're out there.

Yeah, had to be me. I do technically have a FMIC, and yes I'm getting a bigger one. :thumblef: It will mount in front of the lower grille instead of in front of the radiator in the upper grille.

Atleast some SRT-4's that I knew of.

Well its all paid off and all souped up now. Id drive it a little bit but I swear that poor car just sits in the garage now :(
Why keep a car if you are not going to use it.

Yet another reason I didnt put the turbo on my car. It would go from a daily driver to a never driver.

Yeah, mustangs are everywhere... but most are 4 or 6 cyl. I don't see the point of getting a mustang if it's not at least a GT. No offense to the non GTs.

That's cool.

Then there's another black one down here then. I've seen him on 2 separate occasions. There's also an older guy named Steve who lives up your way with a black one. Don't see very many.

Yeah I know one guy works at Best Buy and I've seen one other that works on base. Steve did have one, but he traded in the CSRT4 and his Charger SRT8 for a Challenger SRT8. Silver w/ black stripes. Must be nice to be able to trade around cars like that.

Meh, the SRT-4 Neon was just as easy to work on as my Neon. Same car different engine.

Once the heat shield is off my turbo, everything is a piece of cake. Getting the heat shield off can be a b**** tho.

specially when they only cost 13 bucks to replace a heatshield

Yeah I just mutilated mine w/ tin snips when I put on the wastegate. MUCH easier to move around now.

Haha I can only imagine. My cuts are ALMOST healed from 2 weeks ago. The shirt, however, is ruined.

Matty, was that you coming on base yesterday about 7ish, turning right at the firehouse to go down past the barracks and the hobby shop? I did see a black CSRT-4, but didnt notice if it had lights and a banner. I was on the Veestrom.

I think that was the other guy on base w/ a black one. He works in one of the buildings right near me. I came in from gate 1, so I would have been going straight. Another way to notice a difference is the black tails. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one around w/ blacked out tails.
