Whats up? im tim im currently from binghamton ny... but i am moving to Ft washington and will be visiting La Plata maryland Daily :P I drive a 2004 mach 1 With a 03 mach motor(04 is alum 03 is iron) so i can boost it and have a little more fun... car is pretty basic.. but my very best run was 12.7 with slicks stock... at 114 i believe... i run constant 8.80's on street tires on my local 1/8th but thats nothing to brag about because i spin like crazy lol..

Welcome, but a few things are wrong with this post.

First, all Mach 1's have aluminum blocks and heads. All of them. Not a single exception. The Cobras have iron blocks. And I do not believe you ran a 12.7 @ 114 stock AT ALL slicks or no slicks.

Why? Because you run 8.80's on street tires. I ran 8.50's on street tires stock and I never trapped higher than 108 stock and that was at MIR with the track temp at about 35-40 degrees. I know what it takes to get these junk boxes to trap 114 and an iron block is only going to slow you down if you really have one :book:

Your 1/8th mile time is completely believable though.

The record 1/4 mile ET for a stock Mach 1 is 12.9 @ 109 with most people only running 13.2-13.6 @ 102-105. Conditions have to be perfect to trap above 105. 114 ain't happening.

8.8 1/8 came out to a 13.73 1/4 from one site I looked at. Not even close to his claimed 12.7

I have herd with an average driver and the FWD mod on the WRX. You should be able to shave 1 second of your 1/4 mile time.
