What's going on everyone? Well after living here for over a year, I finally find a site dedicated to a car club in the area.
Hmm, to start it off I'm probably one of the oldest farts here (33), but stopped counting at 28 so it's all good. Left St. Mary's ages ago for the Marine Corps and have been in North Carolina since. Figured it was time to come back home so did so and about crapped myself at the prices of homes.
Anyway, I own a black sleeper debadged 95 gst with no tint (thanks MVA for making me take it off to get it inspected) anymore, basically all bolt-ons and plannign on adding cams to my collection soon. I'm hoping there are some imports representing here so I don't feel like a stranger. If there's anything you need to know dsm based, feel free to ask. All mods have been completed by myself and hate spending money for someone else to touch my toy. Unfortunately dsmtuners is currently down, so no pics for now.
I hope a lot of you cruise to MIR since I plan on spending some time there this year (plus it's like 5 minutes from my house) if I ever get some free time.
Sorry about the book, but figured I'd throw out everything at one shot to get it out.
Later and looking forward to meeting up with everyone soon-
Chris

Welcome back to the area, and dont worry about the tint, just get it re-done, they are not that stricked.

Yes! finally someone joined the club that is older than me....lol. I definetely would love checking out your GST. I have an Evo, and so do 2 other guys in the group. I'm sure Ashalee will jump on here soon, but she has an Eclipse that she has done a lot of work to! Anyway how many years did you do in the corps? I just did 4 and got the hell out!

man, thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah, I did the 4 year thing and got out myself (0331). I think I might have spent 6 months total on base if that much. I miss it, but didn't want to have a family while I was in and never home.
About the tint, etc. that's one thing I love about St. Mary's - one inspection and your done. I'll eventually get it done. I'm bad about that, my damn trunk shocks don't work, my wiper nozzle just sprays wherever it wants beside my windshield, chipped paint, my power locks died, but all my extra cash finds itself in the engine everytime.
I wish I could get an evo or sti, but the new house is using up my cash. I'm hoping Mitsubishi will get back on the roll and start coming out with the awd turbo versions again. I played around with a 2006 eclipse and just felt sorry for the poor thing, just not the same. A couple of the guys in NC had awds-the love of dropping the clutch at 6K and traction. I'd end up spinning 15 miles before my tires caught up and that's with my lsd.
Take care and will be stopping by frequently. Yeah I figured I was the old fart of the bunch. My old club in NC I was close, but not old man of the crew.

man, a few evos out there. The only thing I have mostly seen is Lancers for some reason and don't bother playing with them.
Damn, the viper, my dream car. Is that a srt10 or whatever the top notch model is? I would love to own one of those, they just look so freaking intimating-like it's about to strike at you. Looks like there's some rides around here. Mostly what I was use to was the yes-civics. There's just to many of them and most of them still have the massive 95 hp powerplant.
From checking the board so far, it loosk like everyone hangs out at Target. I might have to cruise by there sometime to meet you all.
Thanks for the military support. I have a lot of respect for the ppl that are heading or in Iraq.

man I wish I could afford the evo, but it doesn't look like that will happen for awhile. My toy is finally paid for, so I'll keep it for awhile. As for my ride, dsmtuners site still isn't up, so found some pics while I was still in NC. Looks about the same minus the tint and added other toys.
As for the turbo guys, what do you all tune with? I've got dsmlink and I believe they are coming out with an Evo version. That program rocks.

Hello! Welcome to the site! I'm Hannah, the designated biker chick. I rock a bright orange Triumph and a Solstice. My real American muscle is currently seeing some serious downtime......nevermind about that. There seems to be more and more DSM people on here. I'm waiting for Smashalee or Dan to pop up and say something.....

I have a DSM as well. It is curently broke down. It needs a head swap. It's a 98 RS that is all show and no go. It has way to much stuff done to it to list. I'm registered on DSM tuneres as RST I have a bunch of pictures of my eclipse in the Galery.

I used to be real big in the DSM seen. I used to go to the shootout every year in Norwalk Ohio. Once I got my 350 I havn't realy messed with my eclipse at all. I would like to get it fixed but I just to lazy and keep puting it off.

thats a sweet looking eclipse you got there. DSM's are meant to be broken all the time aren't they? That's the best thing about them, one part breaks-upgrade. I was so pumped after my T25 blew up (after running at about 25 psi w/stock fuel:)) because I knew it was time for an upgrade. Hopefully if it stays nice out, I'll be cruising during the nights so hope to see you all out and about.
Those 350's are nice too, but how does it handle up against the 300Z twin? It sucks that most imports are getting out of the turbo scene.

I havn't raced any 300 turbos yet. I would like to just havn't had the chance to yet. Allmost all of the 300's I come across are non turbo.

I already have the new head to fix my eclipse I just havn't got around to doing it yet.

Stock both the turbo 300 and the 350Z should be pretty close. The old one is kinda heavy.

I've been itching to run either the old car or the 350 but I never get any takers.:(

If you need any help with the head, let me know. I don't know squat about the 420a but willing to learn. I want to open my engine up but I can't get traction until 3rd gear with all my suspension mods, so it's pointless. I'm looking around for a 2gen awd to put all my goodies in. It pisses me off most awd guys with less mods than I have run high 11-low 12's and my fwd is in the high 12-low 13 range with luck.
The Supra TT and 300ZX TT were the first cars I rode in with mods and I was hooked as the both of them threw me back in the seat. Unfortunately from my experiences, a 400 hp and a 900 hp Supra both net 11 sec time slips, for some reason it's hard for them to get any lower unless you rip everythign out. The 350's look sweet as hell, never had the chance to drive one of them yet so wasn't sure about the power.

Freaking punk kids:) 30, yeah, I remember that:) If you see a very plain looking SRT-4, balding guy driving, thats me:) Only distinguishing marks are the SRTOC (SRT owners club) rear plate frame and the "Stage ?" badge on the trunk.
